FAQs
Q: How do I know if I need a new website or corporate identity?
A: Give us a call or contact us through our contact form. One of our main advantages as compared to other companies is that we will provide up front, no cost consultation to help you evaluate your website and brand to determine what and if anything needs to be changed. From there, we’ll spend time with you and develop a plan of action for you to take from there. There’s no risk and we’re confident you’ll be satisfied with the results.
Q: A guy in my church has offered to build a free website for me? Why should I spend money on a website?
A: There are several reasons you should consider a professional web presence. (1) Overall quality of the site. Nothing against the guy/girl in your church wanting to get you something for free / cheap, but establishing your visual presence both through web and print media is very important and you want to get it right. (2) Time Frame: We can give you a guaranteed, fast turn-around time and offer post-launch customer support. (3) Edibility: We build your site using a Content Management System or (CMS) to ensure that your site can grow as you grow. Our sites are easy to edit, so there is no bottleneck with an IT person – anyone can make edits to the site with a little training.
Q: What do your sites costs? How does costs compare?
A: We’ve been in web design long enough to know that there is ALWAYS going to be something cheaper and something more expensive. The attractive thing about NewCoast is that we can offer affordable solutions on several different budgets. We can cater a creative plan to fit your budgetary restrictions. Contact Us to get started.
Q: I keep hearing this term “CMS” – what does it mean?
A: That’s a great question. CMS stands for content management system. Simply put, a CMS allows you to login to a designated place on your site such as yoursite.com/login and manage content without having to know code or access your server via FTP or a control panel. We’re confident that anyone with a limited computer knowledge a couple of hours of training can learn how to use the sites that we build.
Q: What CMS do you use?
A: Custom CMS platforms can be expensive and can be buggy. Therefore, we rely heavily on existing solutions – both proprietary and open source solutions to get the job done. Primarily, we use Ekklesia 360, which is the premier CMS for churches. Additionally, we use WordPress for blogs, microsites, and for our Standard Theme Customization packages.
Q: What type of packages do you offer?
A: Our goal is to make things simple for you as the customer. We offer three packages: (1) Our Standard Theme Customization Package – which includes a semi-custom design based on an existing theme, development of a site utilizing WordPress as your CMS, and many additional features (2) Our Extended Theme Customization Package – which includes the identity / branding package in addition to all of the features of the Standard Package and (3) our Premium Package which includes a custom design using Ekklesia 360 to power your site.
